Polka Dot Easter Bowl

When I saw this bowl at Goodwill there was just something about it that caught my eye…

I guess no one else saw what I saw because I actually didn’t buy it the first day I saw it but when I came back another day and it was still there I knew I needed to have it…

After getting out a can of spray paint and painting the bowl a soft white I grabbed some stickers.

I started placing them all over the bowl.

When my husband saw what I was doing, he asked if we were now going Andy Warhol in our decorating…

Hehee…guess I keep him guessing at times.

I got out some craft paint and started painting.

For some dumb reason I used a way too small craft brush for the project so when it started to dry it had terrible streaking going on. After a small panic, I got a larger brush and a little water and evened out the paint.

After letting the paint dry over night, I peeled off the stickers and know have a cuteΒ  Easter addition for my porch.

Have you been working on any Easter crafts lately? I’d love to hear about them!
