The Perfect Cleaning Attire

I have no idea how many calories are burned while cleaning a shower but it has got to be a ton. I never seem to be able to get it as clean as I want before I poop out. Of course I could always just get back to it the next day but of course I don’t.

So while I was cleaning I got wondering what most of my readers wear when they clean. I can’t tell you how many outfits I have ruined thinking I was just going ot do a fast clean up…so why change clothes.

Years ago women use to wear cleaning aprons…

they were different than their cooking aprons…

and their hostess aprons…

Do you clean in an apron?

I know a woman in her 80′s that has always cleaned her house in the nude…yep you heard me right. I will tell you that she has been happily married for over 60 years and looks great! And her husband???? He always has a smile on his face…

So confession time….do you ever clean in the nude?

It is so funny because I was thinking about this the other day. I have found that white nurses scrubs work great. No need to worry about stains and bleach, they have pockets and they are cheap. Cleaning in the buff is fine too, but no pockets.

  2. well, no -lol. I do have an old t-shirt and pj pants that I do the dirty stuff in – they’re covered in paint and a real mess already — and I have elderly lady up the street whom I see outside in one of the work aprons above – very vintage and fun. Of course, she’s probably had it over 60 years…

  3. Hahaha! those aprons are awesome! They actually are super cute! I find that my jean pockets are full of “stuff/who knows what” when I am done cleaning! Therefore to clean in the buff is not an option! I would have to say that would put a smile on your cousins face for sure! LOL I should try it someday! He would be speechless….then again…maybe not!
