As I was surfing the web today I came across these…
Don’t they just make your heart happy? I am not much of a glitter and sparkle girl but there is something about these that make me smile. I think it has to do with the fact that it is like a peek a boo glitter. I imagine an all black outfit and then just this little surprise showing up.
My daughter has some gold glitter shoes.

I thought they were “pretty over the top” when she bought them, but she had her heart set on them. They were her reception shoes, and I have to tell you….she felt like Cinderella.
Since then she wears these shoes ALL of the time. A simple outfit is easily transformed by a pair of shoes into something magical.
Would you wear glitter shoes?
If you would like give it a try and add some glitter to a pair of your shoes, check out…http://couldihavethat.blogspot.com/2012/03/diy-glittery-soles.html

Oh, I love that peek-a-boo glitter as well!
I like your daughter’s shoes! So fun! I can’t wear heels anymore and would love some fancy shoes like hers for a wedding at the end of the month. I need to start shopping!!!
I think those would be fun shoes to wear! Why is it that kids get to wear their glitter shoes everywhere (mine even wears hers to the beach!) but as adults we feel silly doing the same thing? Maybe that’s why Jesus spoke to the children — they are unashamed and untainted. . .they are willing to do what feels right to them, what makes *them* happy! I might try to “glam up” a pair of my heels the next special occasion I have. Or heck, maybe just for a day in the classroom
