I thought I should share with you just how we finished it. At first the staining process was not going well.
No matter what I used I couldn’t seem to get a finish on the boards like I imagined.
One board would look great and then the next would look really bad. Many of you mentioned using a conditioner on the boards before staining, but I couldn’t find one that said it was for outdoor use.
In one final attempt I headed to Home Depot and found this…
The color is very consistent without looking like paint…I love it! On top of that it is easy to apply….Stay tuned for the finish project..
