The Ever Changing Way Home

Living at a building site has been a bit challenging at times…

You may remember when we first moved into the cottage and I spent the day arranging my stepping stones…

It was difficult, but we managed by parking in our neighbor’s driveway…lucky for us she left town for the summer and begged us to use it…Got to love good neighbors.

But then came the day the stepping stones had to go…it was time to start grading the property. This is what I had to walk thru then.

And of course there were rainy days to contend with, but we just tried to giggle thru it all.

Now we have our travertine laid and all I can say is I feel soooo civilized

This is now my walk out to my car….

The problem with having to walk on this wonderful sidewalk around the back of the house to my own driveway?  It’s a long way to lug grocerys all by yourself. So the other day I had an idea…I need a grocery cart I thought…hmmm I don’t have one of those but I do have a stroller….

 My dad use to always say that if you have a hard job, give it to a lazy person and they will find an easy way to do it…in fact he use to say it to me a lot…hmmmmmm
