An Important Painting Tip from Mr Amazing

My daughter has decided that since the baby is due in about a month that it might be time to start working on the nursery. Funny how things change between baby number one and two. I think we were working on my grandson’s nursery by the time she was five months pregnant.

She decided to start by painting the dresser that she got at Goodwill. (I am so proud when my girls bargin hunt.)

She has learned that her husband does not share her excitement for projects so she took all the precautions and started painting.Everything was going great …until she went to finish for the day. She  hammered the lid back on and much to her surprise this happened…

After we all got a good giggle her father gave her this advice…”from now on always put a rag or paper towel over the can before you hammer the lid on.” See why he is amazing…he never misses a thing… Thought maybe that was a tip all of you could use, unless of course you like the splattered look….hehehee
