As you Take Down your Tree

Before Christmas is over I want you to look at your tree and ask yourself…what do I like in a Christmas tree?

Do you like fat trees?

Or skinny trees?

We all seem to have our own ideas about what the perfect tree should look like.

I heard the other day that we like the same thing in our Christmas trees as we do in our men.

This got me thinking ….

I like perfect trees…..

hehehee…

But think of all the funny answers to this question…

Some people like Charlie Brown trees…thinking they can fix it. I know a lot of women that look for that in a man.

Some people like their trees full of memories…others just want it to look good.

Some like fresh trees…some like trees that smell good. Some don’t care what it looks like as long as it is cheap.

So…..what kind of tree do you look for? Now think about the man in your life….just thought I’d give you a post holiday giggle.

That is funny! This year I wanted one tall and skinny. My husband is very slender! But my taste in trees shifts a little from year to year. My taste in a husband doesn’t! :)

  2. Cute post Dianne! I always look for a tall and skinny tree but in the end compromise with what my family wants. I guess that is kind of like marriage too huh? :-) Happy New Year to you!

For real trees, I like about medium shape… but I love putting together my parents’ old artificial tree, which is some assembly required. I promise I don’t like my men plastic and in color-coded pieces, lol!

Very true! I like pre-lit so all I need to do is decorate with ornaments. (Someone who’s pretty much already got it together, and I would just accentuate their awesomeness!) Now if only my husband were like that….LOL!
