About Me

I married Mr. Amazing over 30 years ago…

…and we have always been “project people”.

From painting to plumbing, we have attempted just about every home design project there is…and we’re not slowing down anytime soon!

I have spent my life trying to make a home for my family that would inspire them to be all that they can be.Β Join me as I share what I have learned and am still learning about this thing called life!

    Hi Dianne,
I came across your blog last night and have so enjoyed reading everything. You have a photo of a corner hutch in your house that is made from an old door. I love it! Our ‘screen door’ looks very similar and I am thinking of replacing it with a real screen door and using the old one to make one of those hutches. That way when sell our house we can take a part of it with us πŸ™‚ I just became a Nana for the 2nd time myself as well (two granddaughters) and I can relate to your Grandma posts! Thank you for producing a wonderful blog and I wish you all the best πŸ™‚

    • Thank you so much for stopping by Vickie….I think the screen door idea is a great one …enjoy those granddaughters…I would be so broke if mine were girls…I buy enough for the boys..

You’re welcome Dianne πŸ™‚ I crochet, knit and am a professional seamstress and am always making pretties for my girls (and their mother, my daughter (and only child). Since I’ve returned to school full-time I don’t have as much time to create for them as I would like but I try to have a few projects going at once so I can work as time allows. I am looking forward to seeing your new house built, it sounds so exciting πŸ™‚ (I also am trying out the smoothies shown in your post with your youngest, I definitely need something quick, easy and nutritious to make because I don’t have time to live in my kitchen anymore lol)
